How pantry items and fresh offerings reach you, and what to expect around your puja date.
Where we deliver
Dharma Seva currently serves the Charlotte, North Carolina metro area. Fresh items are delivered locally by us, which is what limits the service area — pantry items may travel further as the catalogue grows.
If you order to an address we cannot reach, we will contact you before charging for anything that cannot be delivered.
Two kinds of items, two schedules
- Pantry items — ghee, camphor, incense, brass and other shelf-stable samagri. These are dispatched ahead of your puja date so they are in hand early.
- Fresh items — flowers, durva, tulsi, fruit and prasad. These are sourced close to your date and travel cold-chain, scheduled to arrive the evening before your puja rather than being held in storage.
Your puja date is what drives both schedules, so please enter it accurately at checkout.
Substitutions
Seasonal and fresh items are not always available in the exact variety a list names. Where that happens we substitute a ritually equivalent item rather than leave a gap, and the substitution is shown on your order. If a substitution is not acceptable for your ceremony, contact us and we will make it right.
Order timing
Order as soon as your date is set. If your puja is only a day or two away, place the order anyway — we will confirm what can still reach you in time and will not charge for anything that cannot.
